Who Am I?

I am a compassionate, approachable, and experienced psychologist with a strength-based approach to therapy.

In my 20+ years of practice, I have worked with a diverse group of young adults and older adults who are trying to solve a variety of problems, most frequently around eating disorders, stress and anxiety, and life transitions.

Change in one area
often leads to changes in others

When we meet, I will ask you to describe why—and why now—you are seeking therapy.

I will want to know your symptoms, but I’ll also want to know about your strengths. I believe that our problems don’t define us.

I want to help you build your resilience and ability to be in the world with coping strategies that you can rely on for the long run.

What is therapy with me like?

Starting Therapy Together

  • I offer each new client a free phone consultation. It’s your chance to ask any questions and see what it’s like to work together.

  • If you decide we’re a fit, we’ll have a first intake session. This is a one-hour session that lets us go deeper into what brings you to therapy.

  • In regular sessions (45 minutes), I will offer you a supportive space to gain insight, build skills, and create change. The interventions I offer will be based on your therapy goals.
