I am a New York State–licensed clinical psychologist and have been in private practice since 2001. In my practice, I see a diverse group of patients who are college age and older, representing a wide range of ethnic backgrounds, religious affiliations and sexual orientations. I work with people who have a variety of problems, including eating disorders and weight issues, anxiety disorders, relationship issues, parenting conflicts and depression. I received my degree in clinical psychology in 1996 from Temple University. In 2004, I received a certificate in psychodynamic therapy from the New York University Psychoanalytic Institute. During my graduate training, I provided cognitive-behavioral treatment to children with anxiety disorders. I have extensive experience providing short-term treatment to individuals and couples, and I have worked in a variety of clinical settings in New York City, including Bellevue Hospital Center and Gouverneur Hospital. I am a member of the American Psychological Association, the New York State Psychological Association, and the Academy of Eating Disorders. My New York state license is 013234-1.
